Located in "Sunset Valley" 20 miles south of Burns, Oregon, it is the "Town that was never built", recorded around 1902-1907, it is the town of "Wellington" and is an area of 40 acres and has 10 city blocks, 126 city lots, streets, crossstreets, alleyways, greenways, and is borderd by a very good county road. Presently, it is pristine, slightly rolling, sandy, sagebrush throughout, and is located a few thousand feet from Mud lake, Harney lake, and Malhuer lake, which is in the National refuge just south of the property. The property is not on or in the Refuge.
