BOSTON, Mass. - The 24th annual Boston Film Festival is just around the corner, another year and another chance for film lovers to attend one of the great cultural events that Boston has to offer. The event lasts one week and starts on September 12th, running through the 18th.

Taking place at Boston Common (one of the oldest parks in America), AMC Loews and other Boston venues, the 24th annual Boston Film Festival provides attendees with an in-depth film experience through the viewing of feature films, short films and documentaries.

An interactive experience of Q & A sessions with filmmakers, actors and actresses follows each film, giving viewers an in-depth look at the filmmaking process and what goes on behind the scenes of producing a film.

Boston is not only a lively city with great cultural roots to host such an event, but Massachusetts has become an industry leader as a result of its aggressive economic incentives to produce in the state and its unique locations for filming.

Filminglocations.com has residential filming locations available in cities like Marshfield, Dorchester, Westwood, Boston, Revere, Springfield and Plymouth – to name a few.

Filminglocations.com also makes available commercial Massachusetts filming locations in Sudbury, Holland, Brewster, Petersham and North Attleboro.

In the past, the Boston Film Festival has hosted a number of well established Hollywood talents such as George Clooney, Al Pacino, Jodie Foster, and Michael Madsen, to name a few. There are a number of different awards that will be given to acknowledge the creativity and artistic skills that filmmakers of all ages, genders, and nationalities have to offer.
