The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards handed out their annual awards this week, and it was highlighted with what some might consider to be a brand new Britney. Spears looked young and beautiful as she appeared with Superbad star Jonah Hill, who is currently filming Funny People in California.

Spears has been in the middle of the public eye in recent years for what has been mostly negative reports about her lifestyle – but a stunning Spears stole the show on Sunday with her looks, presence, and the award for Best Female Video. “Piece of Me”, which was directed by Wayne Isham brought home the hardware.

The MTV Video Music Awards has been recognizing music videos since 1984 and has developed into a well respected award ceremony. While some music videos are shot in studios, they are also shot on location at residential homes, commercial properties and bigger venues.

States like Florida and Georgia include music videos as projects that qualify for their aggressive economic incentives for filming.

Filminglocations.com showcases properties in states all across the country and Canada that can be used for filming locations in music videos.

Chris Brown’s “With You” beat out Flo Rida, Lil’ Wayne, T.I. and Usher to win Best Male Video. “Piece of Me” also won the award for Best Pop Video and Video of the Year.
