The easiest room to film in would be the living/dining/kitchen area which is all one and opens by two sets of french doors onto the sunroom. The most rustic, antique-looking of the four fireplaces is in the living room and includes a dutch oven. The large pine paneled bathroom off of this area has two sinks, a spa tub and a window seat. The attic is unfinished, with the original brick chimney in the center and very ancient wide boards in the floor and roof.

Guest House
The basic post and beam structure is of the same age as the house, but it was recently made into an apartment with two and a half baths, and one wall of all glass. A loft surrounds the open space downstairs on three sides, making for interesting shooting angles.

This added room is two stories high with windows all along one side and a skylight. The floor and one wall are made of irregularly shaped stones. It is a pale yellow, light and airy room.

The most interesting view from the house is of a two hundred year old sycamore and the pond. The yard includes dwarf and large evergreens of many varieties, a metasequoia which is now taller than the sycamore, flowering bushes, a natural stone stairway, and many gardens. It has been on several garden tours.
