Divided into three respectable areas – the western, central, and eastern regions – Pennsylvania boasts countryside, plateaus, well-kept towns, hills and rivers, and large industrial towns in their array of filming locations.

Pennsylvania is a great place to shoot a movie not only because of its historical colonial mystique, but because of its economic initiatives.

Any production spending 60% of its budget within the state is eligible for a 25% transferable tax credit.

Visitation of over 30 days exempts production crew from the 14% state hotel occupancy tax. There is also no fee for the use of state-owned property for the purpose of making commercial films.
