Property Description
One of the original gilded age mansions, The Seven Hills Inn is set on 27 acres of sweeping lawns and gardens. The inn is made up of three buildings. The Manor House (the gilded age mansion), The Carriage House and The Terrace House. The Manor's first floor has a huge music room with a magnificent working antique wooden bar with bar stools. The ballroom is huge and we can provide round tables and chairs if you are doing a wedding scene. There is also a library, spacious parlor, dining room and kitchen. In addition, there is a funky nightclub on the lower level. These rooms are filled with antiques, hand carved fireplaces, wooden bars, leaded glass windows and eclectic art. Each room is large enough for cameras to maneuver. On the second floor, The Manor has 12 bedrooms all filled with antiques, wooden floors and fireplaces. The Carriage House is located just to the right of The Manor House and has six additional guest rooms. The Terrace House is located just left of The Manor House and would be a perfect location to house the cast and crew. It has more modern features and each room has its own bathroom. There are over 20 rooms available in The Terrace House.
The Seven Hills Inn is ideally located just 2 1/2 hours from New York City and Boston and is the neighbor of Edith Wharton's home, The Mount.
