Once you see the property you will understand exactly what Boutelle meant. Wild turkeys, deer, foxes and birds (including humming birds, finches, warblers, red-tailed hawks soaring above and the wild band tailed pigeon) share the property, and yet you are only minutes away from the University as well as shops, restaurants, and entertainment. An adjoining cottage, with magnificent living area and redwood deck overlooking a hillside stream and under a giant redwood, is also available. The owners have preserved the integrity of Morgan's design by keeping the original butcher block counters and cabinets in the kitchen, as well as the spacious pantry.
