Property Description
One of the most spectacular features of this 4500+ sf loft is the unobstructed views of the Chicago skyline. It is on the top north east corner of the building. There are five 13 foot long by 9 foot high windows in the main living space. That's 65 feet of windows!
Every bedroom also has a 13 foot window with a city view, the best belonging to the master bedroom because it faces east and showcases the city.
Two of the four bedrooms are lofted so that there is a second level. One of the bedrooms has a fairy theme and an amazing lofted play area. This bedroom was featured on HGTV a couple of years ago.
The entire loft, save the lofted areas also feature 16 foot high timber loft ceilings and brick walls throughout. The layout of the space is very open as no walls separate the living and dining room; two vertical wood support beams and a wood burning fireplace with two pipes that run to the roof for the smoke are the only obstructions. An office loft work space overlooks the main living area and provides a bird's eye view.
Three out of the five bathrooms are themed in decor. One is an underwater theme with fish and mermaids on all of the walls as well as the ceiling, another has crystal parfume bottles, and the third has sexy lingerie with a red headed girl in high heels!
A roof top deck provides a spectacular view, but was recently removed for roof resurfacing that is being done at present. If the weather holds, it will be re-installed before winter, otherwise, it will have to wait until spring.
There are also two kitchens, one off of the LR & DR, the second off of the three bedrooms. An entry hallway divides the loft into two separate living areas. One includes LR, DR, kitchen area, exercise room. master bedroom and 2 & 1/2 baths, the other, three bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, the laundry room and kitchen.
