Property Description

The house was built in 1927, in front of a stone quarry by one of the italien stone masons working there ..the house's lower floor, garage and all paving and landscape details are made out of Manahattan Shiest, the same stone the Empire State buiolding is made of and all Manhattan is sitting on. We are only the second owners and almost nothing was done to the original house. I found the floor plan in a 19th C book of house patterns, the kind that were available than at the hardware store. That is to say, the house is an untouched type, an historic model of low cost suburban house cca. 1890-1930 on the Hudson.
