Property Description

Seeing is believing…. my home in the country I think is pretty cool. The property sits right near a medium size running creek, just steps away from my back porch. More water flows in the creek during the spring, fall and winter, but in the summer there is a small amount. When it rains, it is very peaceful to hear the water flowing through the creek, I can hear it from my back porch. There is a lot of open space for film crew and the over all filming equipment in general. Easy access to the major highway 18. I've recently changed part of the landscaping around the property, with some gravel river rock, it turns different colors when water is sprayed on it, the rocks have been placed in part of the driveway, which leads up to the front door and side path walkway, the rocks have settled in and are flat to walk on, but I’ve also placed cement bricks as a walking stone. I continue to improve the overall landscape on the property, but maintaining the country rustic appeal. There is a wonderful shaded area behind the house, which is covered with lots of trees, and there is a slight slope in two different areas. There are a couple of very large trees on the property. Built in 1998, the lot size is 1.9 acres and the house is 1,344 sq ft, 3 bedrm, 2 bath, with large 2 person bathtub in master bathroom, newly painted on the inside and the outside paint is in excellent condition. The home is very open on the inside, easy filming access to all areas of the home. I'm also painting a couple of rooms in the house. The living room has southwest decor, other areas of the house are designed with country decor. I do have a room called my collectible room, with lots of memorabilia from art, music and items I've collected throughout my travels around the world. I have a dolphin collection in the hallway. The overall appearance of the home and property is country. There is an original wooden shed and fence that has been here since the property was established many years ago. There is a small porch entrance on the front, easy access with no covered roof, and a back porch with a clear covered roof, you can hear stand outside and watch the rain or snow fall, it is pretty amazing. The grass does turn brown in the summer, but very green in the fall and early spring. We are known to get a bit of snow in the winter, enough to make it a white winter wonderland. My driveway is also easy access of the local road, which I recently had black gravel placed on it, to avoid the muddy driveway during the rainy season. I have the view of many trees in the front and back yard. The back yard has many areas that would be great for a thriller movie, because it gets very dark at night-kind of mysterious. A full moon will light up the yard, and the stars are crystal clear. I live close to Lincoln city, so we do get a nice coastal breeze in the evening time. At night I sleep with the windows open and breathe in the fresh country air. My home can be used for many different filming events, because the yard is open and spacious, and the inside is cozy. It is very quite in this area and there is no criminal activity.
